So I actually bought these because my husband has two pairs and I loved them so much, so I purchased the men’s size 8 which is equivalent to a women’s size 9. They fit perfectly and I’m so happy with them. They are super lightweight, comfy and warm! So I would totally say these can be unisex!The boots run small. I normally wear 10.5 shoes, but ordered size 11. The 11's fit just right with light weight socks. If I were to wear heavy (wool) socks, I probably would need size 11.5. Boots are well made, comfortable and I expect it will do well in snow and slush.I love my new Sorel “Kezar” waterproof boots. Very well constructed (made in Vietnam) with real sheep skin and wool. Just got them a few days ago right before it snowed another 8 inches today, wore them while shoveling snow for an hour in 25 degree weather and they’re very warm and super comfortable. I ware size 10.5 shoe, but order this in size 11 because I have wide feet, these boots are a typically designed average width shape so the size 11 is perfect for me. I definitely recommend these boots.So comfortable and great quality. I’m looking forward to buying other Sorel productsI like the the comfort and the height of the this bootsNicely madeTrue to size and the color is greatone comment, these fit me just slightly spacier, than I prefer my slip-on dress boots to fit. not as much of a 'winter boot' fit. love them.
