Timberland Women's 6" Premium Waterproof Winter Boots with Fleece Lining - Warm Snow Boots for Hiking, Walking & Cold Weather Outdoor Activities

I'd give these shoes a 9/10, or 4.5 stars, if I could.They're really hardy, warm, and comfortable. They fit slightly tighter than my Timberland Nellie chukkas, but I suspect it's because these are fur-lined, in addition to being brand new. They don't need to be broken in and I don't expect any blisters like I would have with some other leather boots (Dr. Martens, for example). I'm thinking they will soften up and have more give with time. As of right now they don't have much room for thick socks, but I don't think I really need them with the fur lining. The lining does make them look somewhat bulkier than my other Timberlands, but I believe these will keep my toes much warmer. They look a bit like hiking boots, which I wasn't expecting, but I live in the mountains and like more rugged shoes anyways.The color is a very warm, almost brown-grey. Some other reviewers noted this color as being different than they expected, but please remember that monitor color and real life are often not the same. It is definitely the color that was advertised, although I wonder if it should be called "Brown Grey" to avoid confusion. I am fine with the color of the boot because it is very rich, and goes fine with either brown or grey.I'm happy I bought these boots.Great boots for Boston winter. However, it feels somewhat large when I'm wearing thin socks. Thankfully, most of the time I am wearing my thick winter socks with these boots so the 8.5 feels true to size with thick socks.The color is more of a dull mocha- no hint of gray at all, which is fine since I can get these dirty and it'll be camouflaged in. Definitely waterproof since I've splashed around in the water.I am typically a 61/2 or 7. Inumordered these in a 7. I have a bit of extra room but nothing extra noticeable. If I wear thick socks they are perfect. They are extremely comfortable and secure! A little heavy but nothin too uncomfortable.I'm still breaking them in , I may try a 6 1/2 and see How they fit after breaking them in. But all in all I love them and can depend on them!Love these boots. They run a little snug, due to fleece lining, I believe. Order a size up if you want to wear heavy socks with them. As it is summer, I have not worn them for an extended period of time, yet. The leather trim around ankle feels great against shin boneMy boots arrived today and fit perfect. I’m an 8.5 in all other shoes so I ordered an 8.5 in these and it’s a perfect fit. I have thin feet and they are slightly more snug in the area near your toes but not your toes.. I don’t know how to describe it.. but It’s not uncomfortable, I don’t think it will be a problem.ExcelenteBought these for my daughter and she LOVES them. I am generally not one to buy shoes online because of sizing and fit. But I gave it a go, (amazon and it's partners haven't failed me yet). They fit perfectly and were significantly cheaper than the storeI love these boots! I've been looking at these for a couple years and I'm glad I finally made the investment. Super comfy and the fleece makes them that much warmer. The only thing I would say is order half a size up if you are planning on wearing these with thick winter socks.
