This coat is very warm- worn with a sweater it was suitable for temperatures between 0-10 degrees F. Coat is also rain/snow resistant at least for light precipitation. Fur on coat is faux but very realistic and came well puffed up (unlike many mangy examples I've seen posted regarding other coats) although the fur is detachable via a system of loops and buttons which seems far less secure than a zipper. Hood as a whole is also removable via a zipper. Hood is VERY large- looks impressive over your shoulders and can wear a hat or bike helmet underneath easily, but can get in the way of a backpack. Main zipper on the front seems well made and has a second so you can seal the coat up and then adjust the bottom seam for easier leg movement. Coat is medium length (I am short 5'5 so it comes down to my just above the knee) and was correctly sized. Usually a boy's 18 size or men's extra small, their size of extra small fits perfect. Coat has too big front pockets, one left interior pocket, and one pocket on left arm. Pockets do not have a closure which would have been best. Zipper on the arm and slash pockets on the chest are decorative and don't open. Overall coat is warm, comfortable, and stylish, and I would recommend it to a friend.
