These probably should be $200, they are incredible winter boots. I’ve spent the better part of this winter shopping around for boots and have been disappointed in either the look or quality of everything I’ve seen. Timberlands for example look pretty good, but I’ve read about and seen too many fall apart to splash money on them. I live at >9,000ft and have high physical demands on my boots, so I needed something built to last and to withstand a lot of snow & cold. Before seeing these boots I had only recognized Helly Hansen as one of the premier manufacturers of high quality ski coats, so I figured I’d give these a shot since I liked the looks from the pictures. I really couldn’t be happier with my purchase, they were easily worth every dollar spent. Construction is thoroughly built to last, it can be seen in every stitch that is firmly anchored through multiple layers of durable fabric and waterproof leather. There is no way these will fall apart like you’ll see from review pictures of virtually all other boots in this price range. These are also, as a pair, lighter than just a single one of my previous boot. They are verifiably waterproof. They have a special breathable, exceedingly comfortable insole. And above the quality and comfort, they look fantastic and are easily one of the best looking shoes in general that I’ve owned.I probably sound like an H/H rep or a bot (on these boots, I’m not), I simply hope others can find the joy that these boots have given me. And that it is known that these will withstand some of the harshest high alpine winter environments, while looking and feeling fantastic. These boots are great for light snow use. As others said these shoes are not waterproof. Rainy days are no good but these are great for snow. You have about 1" of waterproof soul but leather and materials definitely absorb water. That being said these boots wear like shoes and are super warm. Helly Hansen brand rocks and I feel it was worth the extra $. If you use these boots in the right conditions you won't be disappointed. One last thing... The boots don't have the long shaggy fur look as in the photo. That should be taken down. The faux furon these boots is short as shown in my pictures. This boot is amazing! They keep my feet warm and are very comfortable. I am a female and I work on my feet all day, but I have terrible feet issues and find it almost impossible to find shoes that my feet can stand (pun intended ?). These boots have been awesome! Now I gotta find something for the warmer weather...For those looking to get these I'd suggest going half a size up.I usually wear size 10 but got 10.5 for these and happy I did. They fit great, are snug and very very lightweight and so comfortable.. I noticed I am a reluctant to take them off when I get to the house. They are warm but I am not sure how they will do in upstate NY winter coz my feet got a bit cold last week when in them. All the same I am so happy with this purchase come what may. Good job HHI bought these for my 15 year old who wears a size 12 but had to size up to a 13. He gets so many compliments on these boots at school! The boot caught my eye. I like how they look. They are warm , they are very light, they are comfortable and they claim to be waterproof . I can vouch they are at least water resistant. Only thing left is to see how durable they are. I was pleasantly surprised how they fit me due to other reviewers complaining of them being too narrow. I have wide feet and I got to say these fit me great. As for the longevity they are stitched and not glued like most footwear nowadays so I expect them to last. I liked them so much I ordered two more pairs. One will be my beaters, one pair I will reserve for looking good and I got a black pair for hunting. I'm hooked. I love these.I used these boots for work. It doesn’t snow where I live, but it rains during the winter season. I love these boots from the style, color scheme, comfort, and the faux fur will keep your feet warm for sure. I purchased a size 9.5 thinking my usual 9 was going to feel tight either way it work out just fine. Basically, I did a 5hr shift, it rain the whole time I was pushing carts. Socks were soaked after 3hrs. Comfort wise it did it’s job. Would I recommend these boot to other consumers definitely, but be aware don’t wear them longer than 3hrs max in rain storm, feet will get soaked. Water will penetrate leather. 4 out of 5.Wow yes i know these boots were expensive but sooooooo worth it!!!! Warm, soft, comfy and light as a feather!!!! I cant believe how soft and light these are for winter boots..Nice looking and the fuzzy insides are a huge added bonus..If you are on the fence of spending he money-do it and you wont regret it..Im so happy I bought these and know with seeing how they are made and the HH name, I know I'll get many years out of them..THESE ARE AWESOME!!!!It is a good boot, very light, very soft, good quality wear very comfortable, because I am a person in northeast China, I and the Norwegian foot is very similar, as narrow feet, now-18 ℃, we are in the winter very cold area. So I chose Norway. I once bought a Helly Hansen's water shoe and liked the brand. But it doesn't look consistent with the picture, why there's no hair, why is this hair so short! So it didn't look so beautiful, and I was shocked to buy an inconsistent product, and I took the picture I tried on. I also found this picture on the Internet. It's not like the Hellyhansen official website, as it is on Amazon. I would like to be able to buy and describe consistent products, rather than differentiated products.Excellent quality, super warmSuper warm and comfortableWerry light.Dont know how warm is in winter( not British),but believe I purchased right shoes.Good winter boots, keep my feet warm when it’s cold or wet.
